The 4x3 planar waveguide splitter is an integrated module which is designed and developed by ORTE. It contains function of one 1x3 beam splitter cascaded by three 1x2 beam splitters. The mechanical size only equals to one traditional 1x2 splitter. Moreover, the integrated solution improves quality and reliability, reduces fiber splicing errors. It is widely used in Fiber Optical Gyroscope and ASE sources.
